Technical Services Data Engineer
Key Purpose
As a Technical Services Data Engineer with ISS, your role is to help ISS become the world’s greatest service organization by enhancing service performance and facilitating our customers’ purpose through people empowerment.
The Data Engineer will ensure the operational execution of FMS@ISS best practices across all Technical Services activities within Account/ Country operations, including full compliance with the FMS@ISS Playbook, Taxonomy, and best in class practices. Additionally, the Data Engineer will prepare data for analytical and operational use.

Ideal Candidate Experience
- AS/BS in related engineering or computer science curriculum and/or equivalent training and experience as CMMS operator. Preference for Tririga, FieldFlex, and Tableau
- 5-7 years’ experience in operations and maintenance activities in a building services environment, with a minimum of 5 years proven track record of Technical Services enterprise systems experience
- Ability to explore a situation, assess, and offer different options to formulate a plan that meets or exceeds objectives and expectations
- Good understanding of Asset Management principles
- Strong to expert knowledge of IBM Tririga, FieldFlex, and Tableau
- Understanding of Spares & Inventory planning to work order via central systems
- Multi-disciplined Building Services Engineering experience
- Able to read O&M manuals and technical drawings
- Extensive experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Demonstrated process orientation and data driven skill sets with good attention to detail
- Ability to maintain professionalism in stressful situations
- Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints
- Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision
- Strong organizational skills and a collaborative style is needed for this role
- Must be able to travel as required to support the effective deployment of Tririga/FieldFlex
Key Accountabilities
Performance Monitoring
- Regularly review success of and adherence to planned maintenance regimes while using defined reports and developing new reports as appropriate. Publish results and work with Account Technical Services Lead to propose modifications to regimes or processes to improve success and remedy failures
- Review Account FMS team’s work progress, analyze data for defined team metrics, and seek out detailed information to aid the performance and effectiveness monitoring
- Produce ad-hoc reports as required and requested by Account Head of Technical Services /Country Head of Technical Services or Customer to analyze and summarize work planning and equipment data for an assigned Technical Services scope
Engineering Systems
- Responsible for maintaining data integrity within Tririga and associated electronic records for all assets and maintenance plans for assigned areas
- Responsible for updating Tririga to show status and all current relevant data of all scheduled, planned, and reactive work, including journal information that will be available to the client
- Responsible for ensuring all maintenance plans are correctly entered into Tririga and for monitoring their correct release
- Follow Group, country, account, and site change control and other relevant procedures in carrying out the above
General
- Demonstrate and train new and existing members of ISS technical staff in the effective use of FMS@ISS, Tririga, FieldFlex, and Insight reporting tools
- Ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment and ensure compliance with all ISS Group policies and procedures as well as client site policies, procedures, and working arrangements as required
- Ensure a professional image of ISS is presented to clients and visitors, and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times
- Report any deficiency in ISS systems blueprint implementation or execution that significantly impairs the Company’s ability to provide a safe and effective service
- At intervals not exceeding one years, undertake comprehensive evaluations, and review of the Tririga system to Group compliance to support embedment and promote continuous improvement
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Travel requirements: 25%
- Flexibility to occasionally work shifts which may include weekends or holidays
- Sitting at a computer for long periods of time, at least 90% of the time
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds
- Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods

ISS offers full time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The annual salary range for this position is $113100 per year - $115400 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills, and may vary from the range listed above.
