Hourly Wage

The hourly pay range for this position is $51.14  - $52.14 . Benefits are provided in accordance with the location’s Collective Bargaining Agreement.


Key Purpose

The Assistant Chief Engineer is in-charge of the Engineering Department and assists the Chief Engineer to

ensure that all engineering function areas work properly and engineering staff’s performance leads to achieve the department’s goals and company’s philosophy.


Key Accountabilities 

  • Support administrative and management tasks
  • Manage Engineering department and team when Chief Engineer on leave
  • Coordinate with internal and external clients
  • Control the Engineering functions
  • Handle all preventive maintenance areas
  • Handle all technical areas      
  • Handle all mechanic areas        
  • Handle all building & decoration areas
  • Support service & operation parts  
  • Support all concern department  
  • Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures

  • A solid commitment to the guest experience      
  • Always remember safety first         
  • Build respectful relationships with all teammates and quests    
  • Willingness to take directions from the Chief Engineer, Facility Manager, or Key Account Manager      
  • Coordinate activities with other internal departments      
  • Participate in management team meetings  


REQUIREMENTS       

  • Bachelor’s degree or High Vocational Diploma in Engineering   
  • English Speaking is Pre-Intermediate     
  • At least 3 years in Engineering Middle Management Level     
  • Leadership Personality    
  • Able to work independently and interact positively with all levels of management and clients to include the general public 
  • Ability to effectively communicate to management and client representatives 


Physical Demands & Work Environment    

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch/crawl   
  • Occasionally lift and or move up to 100 pounds    
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus     
  • Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
