AV & Conference Room Tech 


Hourly Wage

Work Hours 

The work hours for this position are Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

 

Key Purpose 

The AV & Conference Room Tech will perform and oversee a variety of conference room management and AV support where supporting our client and working as a team are an essential or substantial part of the workday. The AV & Conference Room Tech will report directly to the Facility Manager.

 Ideal Candidate Experience 

  • Passion for customer service 
  • Intermediate level of AV experience to assist with all conference room management needs and to provide AV support thru out the office
  • A positive attitude 
  • Accountability and dependability in all that you do 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with teammates 
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics and general office practices
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Ability to prioritize duties 

 

 Key Accountabilities  

  • Be the main point of contact for any conference room connectivity issues 
  • Build respectful relationships with all teammates and guests
  • Complete daily checks of 70 conference rooms to ensure that the AV is operational. This includes but is not limited to checking TVs, HDMI cables, phones, touch panels, etc.
  • Troubleshoot any meetings and provide support for the client
  • Escalate any AV issues to the facilities team using ticketing system and coordinate with vendors if additional support is needed
  • Be the main point of contact for AV vendor partnerships for quotes or system repairs
  • Assists with room tidiness and organization 
  • Stocking conference room supplies 
  • Occasionally works independently 
  • Computer knowledge is essential 

 

 Physical Demands & Work Environment 

  • Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks. 
  • Must be comfortable with walking, pushing, and carrying necessary materials 
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs. 
  • Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code
  • Employee must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
