Work Hours

The work hours for this position may include afternoons, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.


Key Purpose

The Busser is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment by promptly clearing and cleaning tables, resetting them for new guests, and assisting the service team as needed. This role ensures smooth operations and contributes to an excellent guest experience. The Busser will assist with general cleaning and sanitation as assigned.

 Ideal Candidate Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of HACCP practices for handling dishware and food deliveries 
  • Passion for customer service
  • Accountability and dependability in all that you do


 Key Accountabilities

  • Clear dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables quickly and efficiently
  • Wipe down and sanitize tables, chairs, and surrounding areas after guests leave
  • Reset tables with proper place settings according to restaurant standards
  • Assist servers by refilling water glasses and delivering bread or other items when needed
  • Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including floors and service stations
  • Remove trash and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing area
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Support team members during peak hours to ensure timely service


 Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
  • Employees must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
