Hourly Wage

ISS offers a competitive compensation, with an hourly pay range $17.56 -$17.56 .


Work Hours

The work hours for this position are approximately Mon-Fri, 6:30 am-3:00 pm. Flexibility is required based on catering and event schedules. Advanced notice of schedule adjustments to accommodate event schedules will be provided whenever possible.


Key Purpose

This role supports a seamless workplace experience by delivering high-quality catering execution, pantry services, and event support. The position ensures that kitchenette areas are consistently clean, stocked, and visually appealing, while also coordinating and supporting catering deliveries, conference room setups, and on-site events.

Success in this role means balancing day-to-day pantry operations with timely, polished catering and event support to create a welcoming, well-run environment for employees, guests, and clients.

Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence

  • Partner with the Workplace Experience Manager and Receptionist to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Support workplace experience initiatives, including employee engagement events
  • Build positive relationships with clients, guests, and vendor partners
  • Follow direction from site leadership while proactively identifying service needs

 

Ideal Candidate Experience

  • 1+ year of experience in catering, food service, hospitality, or workplace services
  • Knowledge of catering presentation standards and food handling practices
  • Familiarity with inventory management and product stocking
  • Ability to safely use standard kitchen and catering equipment
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, or Google Workspace tools)
  • Food Handler or ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Valid driver’s license (site-dependent)

 

Key Accountabilities

Pantry & Service Area Operations

  • Maintain pantry, coffee stations, and kitchenette areas to established standards
  • Stock, rotate, and replenish food and beverage items throughout the day
  • Ensure all areas are clean, organized, and visually appealing
  • Maintain inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
  • Label and display products clearly and accurately
  • Uphold HACCP and food safety standards

Catering & Delivery Execution

  • Organize, deliver, and set up catered food and beverage orders on time
  • Ensure all catering orders include required equipment, utensils, and condiments
  • Execute catering presentations to company and client standards
  • Read and manage delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Safely operate carts, chafing dishes, and other catering equipment

Event & Workplace Experience Support

  • Assist with conference room setups, including food service, room staging, and reset
  • Support on-site meetings, events, and employee engagement activities
  • Partner with Workplace Experience Manager and other site teams to execute workplace experience programming
  • Provide on-the-spot support during events to ensure a smooth guest experience

Customer-Service Mindset

  • Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner
  • Create a welcoming and hospitable environment across all service areas
  • Respond to requests quickly and effectively

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all food safety, HACCP, and workplace safety protocols
  • Actively prevent accidents and report hazards or concerns
  • Maintain compliance with all HSEQ standards

Team Support

  • Assist team members during peak periods or absences
  • Accept feedback and adapt to changing priorities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift (excluding breaks)
  • Lift and carry items up to 25 pounds
  • Push carts and transport food and supplies to various site locations
  • Work under time constraints during busy periods
  • Use a computer for basic tasks as needed
