On-Call Food Service Worker


Hourly Wage

ISS offers competitive compensation, with an hourly pay range for this position is $19.25  - $19.25 .


Work Hours

This is an on-call position - The work hours for this position will vary depending on business needs.


Key Purpose

To assist in all café and catering operations while setting up and working in a timely and professional manner.


Success Criteria

  • Arrive on time daily
  • Set up or break down service areas
  • Clean and sanitize the work area
  • Minor food preparation
  • Attend to customer needs
  • Serve food to customers
  • Attend to catering customers and the service of food


Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence

  • Work with catering to deliver food and assist with the setup of events
  • Time demands in catering, so you must work well under time constraints
  • Realize the importance of a team working environment
  • Support the Chef and culinary team when needed
  • Support the Front of House team as needed
  • Support dish room operators as needed

  • Build rapport with delivery vendors
  • Assist other departments as needed


Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
  • Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code
  • Employees must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
