The hourly pay range for this position is $27.60 - $27.60 . Benefits are provided in accordance with the location’s Collective Bargaining Agreement.

A Cook who enjoys preparing flavorful food, exploring global cuisines, and creating a welcoming experience for guests. Join our Guckenheimer culinary team and help deliver high-quality dinner service in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
In this role, you’ll combine your cooking skills, attention to detail, and customer service skills to prepare consistent, delicious meals while keeping food safety at the center of everything you do.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook menu items for dinner service, supporting high-volume production while maintaining quality, freshness, and presentation.
- Follow standardized recipes, including NetMenu recipes, prep lists, and production sheets to deliver consistent flavor, portions, and results.
- Apply your knowledge of global cuisines, ingredients, and cooking techniques to daily food preparation.
- Coordinate with the culinary team to keep food prepared, replenished, and ready throughout service.
- Interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner and help answer menu questions. Refer allergy or dietary questions to the appropriate culinary leader when needed.
- Follow food handling, sanitation, HACCP, workplace safety, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Safely operate kitchen equipment, including slicers, mixers, food processors, blenders, and choppers.
- Keep workstations, equipment, and service areas clean, sanitized, and organized.
- Notify management promptly about ingredient shortages, recipe discrepancies, equipment concerns, or food safety issues.
- Support special events, catering, and other kitchen responsibilities as assigned.
- Attend team meetings and accurately record work time and breaks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- At least one year of professional cooking experience or equivalent culinary education.
- Knowledge of global cuisines and foundational cooking and food preparation techniques.
- Ability to follow recipes and production instructions accurately.
- Ability to support high-volume meal production and maintain quality during busy service periods.
- Knowledge of proper food handling, temperature control, sanitation, and kitchen safety.
- Friendly communication skills and comfort interacting with customers.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with a team.
The Physical Side of the Job
- Stand and work on your feet for extended periods, up to eight hours.
- Reach, bend, stoop, push, and pull while completing kitchen tasks.
- Frequently lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Use team lifts, carts, and other assistance when handling heavy loads.
- Work efficiently under time pressure during peak production and service periods.
- Wear required work attire and follow kitchen dress and safety standards.
