Your Mission
As the Critical Manager, you will provide tactical and operational leadership across critical environments, ensuring:
- Zero unplanned downtime
- Full compliance with OPTIMA Critical governance frameworks
- Operational consistency and transparency
- Engineering risk mitigation and audit readiness
- Best-in-class health & safety performance
You will serve as a trusted Subject Matter Expert (SME), partnering with operational teams, clients, and leadership to ensure all critical operations are executed with excellence.
What You’ll Lead
Critical Environment Operations
- Drive operational excellence across mission-critical facilities
- Ensure all works comply with OPTIMA Critical governance standards
- Lead a culture focused on:
- Right first time execution
- Continuous improvement
- Recognition and accountability
- ZERO unplanned downtime
- Chair weekly Technical Review Board meetings
- Review and approve Critical Environment Operating Procedures
- Provide SME support during incident management activities
Health & Safety Leadership
- Champion Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)
- Promote and sustain a zero-accident culture
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards
- Act as a Senior Authorized Person (SAP) or Authorizing Engineer (AE)
Risk Controls & Compliance
- Ensure engineering risk controls meet operational and audit standards
- Support successful operational effectiveness testing
- Align ISS and client governance frameworks to maintain compliance and resilience
What You Bring
Required Experience
- 5+ years managing Mission Critical Environments
- Engineering qualification or technical discipline background
- Regional or multi-site operational leadership experience
- Strong stakeholder and customer relationship management
- Experience as an:
- Authorized Person (AP)
- Senior Authorized Person (SAP)
- Authorizing Engineer (AE)

The annual salary range for this position is $$150000.00 - $155000.00 . Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
