Curated Experience Director (CXD)

Key Purpose:

The Curated Experience Director is warm and welcoming, innovative, agile, tech-savvy, and a detail oriented, skilled planner and project manager with an emphasis on workplace experience. The CXD is responsible for supporting the campus curated experience strategy, executing a variety of events such as service celebrations, concerts, wellness events, multi-cultural events, recognition programs, and more.

 

This position will also manage all aspects of Marketing, Communications and Engagement. Working closely with the Culinary Team, all physical, digital and region-wide marketing and communication touchpoints will fall on this position.


The CXD will lead, inspire, and support a highly diverse team in delivering exceptional experiences for guests, clients, and colleagues. The position will partner and collaborate with all service streams (Catering, Facilities, and Front of House) ensuring timely execution. This position will also have a close working relationship with the client’s internal Events team to provide managerial and event-related support, as needed


Success Criteria:

  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects at once with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, editing, proofreading, and grammar skills
  • Experience working with a team and collaborating with various stakeholders
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Google Docs
  • Experience with design programs is a plus; a key eye for graphic and digital design is desired
  • Heavy emphasis on customer service and partnering with executive, facilities management, and multiple vendor representatives
  • Must be capable of working independently and taking initiative on projects
  • Track record of effectively managing and delivering against multiple projects simultaneously in very fast-moving environment
  • Ability to solve problems using quantitative analysis
  • Understand customer service and satisfaction
  • Understand reporting systems and the environment; comfort with managing large scale budget

Ideal Candidate Experience:

  • Must have a bachelor's degree or the equivalent of three years of work experience in a similar role
  • Experience in event planning and hospitality
  • Experience in all aspects of event planning and vendor sourcing/management
  • Experience managing employees
  • Demonstrates experience using computer software
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
  • Can effectively communicate and relate to all levels within and outside the organization
  • Creates and builds positive and productive relationships

 Key Accountabilities:

General:

  • Sets standards and accountability measures around sanitation for the operation while working with other unit leaders to immediately correct deficiencies
  • Responsible for Marketing and Curated Experience team members, tasks and functions
  • Develops team members into high performing individuals by providing constructive feedback and the opportunity to engage in a personal development plan
  • Builds professional relationships with clients and department stakeholders to instill confidence and build organizational trust
  • Conducts inspections and ensures quality levels
  • Attends seminars, workshops, and conferences to improve on existing job knowledge (pre-approval required)

Curated Experience:

  • Delivers consistent quality in planning and execution of VIP and complex events, pop up events, and vendors
  • Develops and executes strategies to achieve curated experience revenue forecasts
  • Develops and manages all aspects of the curated experience budget; reviews financial reports and takes corrective actions as appropriate to ensure budget goals are met
  • Strategize alignment of curated experiences/events and all aspects of marketing and communications across all regional offices

Marketing:

  • Builds the awareness of the products, programs and activities that support our strategy, generate demand, and enhance the customer experience for ISS Guckenheimer at Riot Games
  • Oversees the Marketing Coordinator in all aspects of digital signage and menu displays across 4 regional offices
  • Supports the Marketing Manager in efforts to develop promotions that support the ISS Guckenheimer brand at Riot Games
  • Understands the client’s core values as a company; incorporate client branding across all client-facing marketing collateral and communications


Work Environment:

  • Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code
  • Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods

ISS offers full-time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The annual salary range for this position is $117000.00 -$140000.00 . Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
