Director of Refreshments, Smarts and Micro Markets

 

Position Summary:

The Director of Refreshment and Break Areas will oversee the successful implementation, management, and maintenance of operational projects related to OCS (Office Coffee Service), Micro Market, and Smart Market solutions. This role involves strategic planning, training, troubleshooting, and building relationships with vendors and field teams to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Operations Managers to complete assigned projects across all operational facets.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including scope, progress reports, requirements, and presentations.
  • Serve as the liaison between management and field personnel to ensure seamless communication and execution.
  • Build, develop, and sustain business relationships essential for project success.
  • Train field resources on the assembly, installation, and maintenance of OCS, MicroMarket, and Smart Market systems.
  • Conduct technical training for field teams, including electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
  • Provide training on network configuration and programming of local kiosks.
  • Assist in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving equipment malfunctions.
  • Develop and implement best practices and tools for efficient project execution and management.
  • Monitor and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Identify and report project-related issues and recommend solutions.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of OCS and Micro Market equipment supply chains.
  • Established relationships with OCS, Micro Market, and vending equipment vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (intermediate to advanced level).
  • Minimum of 4 years of business experience, preferably in related industries.
  • Strong orientation toward customer service excellence.
  •  Experience in vending, Micro Markets, or retail management is highly desirable.
  • Background in merchandising is considered a plus.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Sitting at a computer for 50% of the time
  • Walking/Inspecting the site 50% of the time
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds
  • Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods


ISS offers full time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The annual salary range for this position is $125000 per year - $135000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
