Hourly Wage

ISS Guckenheimer offers full-time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00  - $26.00 .

 

Work Hours

The work hours for this position are approximately 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Mon-Fri.

Do you enjoy being on the move, staying organized, and playing an important role in keeping food-service operations running smoothly?


We are looking for a dependable Driver to transport prepared foods, supplies, hot carts, containers, and utensils from the production kitchen to service locations according to a predetermined schedule.


This is a hands-on role that combines safe driving, loading and unloading, food-safety awareness, inventory support, and teamwork with culinary and service teams.


This role requires a valid Driver's License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, as operating a company vehicle is an essential responsibility in this position.

What You'll Do

  • Drive a company delivery vehicle to transport prepared foods from the production kitchen to service locations according to a predetermined schedule
  • Complete daily deliveries safely and on time
  • Load and unload containers, hot carts, utensils, food products, and other supplies and distribute them to the appropriate locations
  • Perform pickup and drop-off of product inventory as required
  • Support day-to-day kitchen, front-of-house, catering, pantry, and delivery needs
  • Work with the Executive Chef, FOH Manager, and Catering Manager on operational projects and delivery needs
  • Coordinate with on-site porters on storeroom organization and food deliveries
  • Coordinate with pantry supervisors on remote pantry product deliveries
  • Maintain product rotation, product labeling, and cleanliness of walk-ins and food-storage areas
  • Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of delivery vehicles daily
  • Maintain required vehicle maintenance records and delivery-log documentation
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Follow workplace safety, food safety, HACCP, internal audit, and company procedures every day
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


What We're Looking For

  • Valid state driver's license
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Clean and safe DMV driving record that meets company requirements
  • Current Food Handler card
  • Experience driving a box truck with a hydraulic lift gate
  • Comfortable loading, unloading, and transporting food, carts, containers, utensils, and supplies
  • Dependable and able to follow a delivery schedule
  • Able to work effectively with culinary, front-of-house, catering, pantry, and porter teams
  • Able to work safely in both hot and cold environments
  • Strong attention to safety, food handling, organization, and documentation


The Physical Side of the Job

This is an active, hands-on driving and delivery position. You should be comfortable:

  • Working up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks
  • Sitting or standing for prolonged periods
  • Lifting a minimum of 25 pounds
  • Manually moving, lifting, carrying, pulling, or pushing heavy objects or materials
  • Stooping, kneeling, bending, and reaching throughout the workday
  • Working in hot and cold environments
  • Working under pressure and meeting time-sensitive delivery deadlines during peak periods
  • Following established dress-code requirements
