Event Manager
Job Description
Key Purpose
The Events Manager is responsible and accountable for proactive leadership, direction, and support for all phases of event execution and client experience. The Events Manager will ensure completion of the strategic business plan for the account and oversee all aspects of cost-savings and service within the events department.

Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence
- Coordinate activities with other internal departments
- Participates in/ leads team meetings
- Interface with vendors and key service users within client organization
- Collaborates with clients and the Events team regarding proper set-up, event execution, and resetting for the next event
- Coordinates with clients regarding inquiries for hosting high end or large/ custom events
- Must work directly with food production to ensure proper portioning and production needs are met
Ideal Candidate Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Events Management or a similar role (hospitality, live events,
- corporate)
- Demonstrates excellent organizational and multitasking skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Computer proficiency and familiarity with industry-specific terminology
- Resourceful and excellent problem-solver
- A collaborative team player
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a tech or creative entertainment company is a plus
- A passion for gaming and empathy for the player experience
- Knowledge of integrating live production elements (audio, video, lighting, staging) to create memorable experiences
Key Accountabilities
- Event Management: Manage conference room bookings, company calendars, and event needs. Develop space and seating setups, and communicate with cross-functional teams
- Project Management: Ensure deliverables and deadlines are met daily. Manage multiple small to medium scale projects from creation to completion while working with partners
- Process Improvement: Continued efforts on developing best practices and process improvements based on experience
- Budget Management: Work within specified budget requirements for each event
- Event Evaluation: Participate in retroactive reviews to measure the impact and resonance of completed events
- Training and Data Analysis: Curate and present data-analysis spreadsheets and training materials including Quarterly Event Reporting, Department Standard Operating Procedures, and Events Playbook
Physical Demands & Work Environments
- Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
- Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code
- Employee must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods

ISS offers full-time employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The annual salary range for this position is $72000 per year - $82000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the above range.
