Be the Financial Leader Behind Operational Success

At ISS, our vision is simple: People Make Places. Behind every successful client partnership, operational achievement, and growth strategy is a strong financial foundation.

We are seeking a highly strategic and influential Finance Director to serve as a trusted business partner to account leadership, providing critical financial expertise, commercial insight, and operational guidance in support of a dynamic, fast-paced client within the media and broadcast industry. This role plays a key part in delivering a high-touch, service-oriented experience, ensuring financial strategies align with both client expectations and account success.

This is more than a finance role—it is an opportunity to shape business strategy, drive profitability, influence executive decision-making, and support the delivery of a responsive, hospitality-driven workplace experience for a high-profile client environment.

If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility setting, enjoy partnering closely with operational leaders, and are passionate about translating financial data into actionable insights that enhance both service delivery and business outcomes, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As the Finance Director, you will partner directly with account leadership and client stakeholders to ensure financial performance, operational alignment, and long-term account growth. You will serve as a trusted advisor to the account team, bringing financial insight, commercial acumen, and proactive problem-solving to support a high-touch client experience, operational excellence, and sustained account profitability.

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Own account full P&L including annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Develop commercial strategies that support growth, profitability, and operational efficiency
  • Provide real-time financial analysis and recommendations to key stakeholders including Account Leaders
  • Drive business performance through data-driven insights and identify risks and opportunities tied to account performance
  • Translate financials into recommendations for operational actions

  • Act as a financial advocate for the account team, ensuring decisions support both client commitments and sustainable margin
  • Partner with Account Leadership to identify growth opportunities, scope expansion, and value-add services
  • Support pricing, change orders, and contract modifications at the account level
  • Provide financial insight during client discussions when needed
  • Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Client-Focused Support & Account Alignment

  • Align financial strategies with client expectations, SLAs, and contractual obligations
  • Support the account team in delivering against client KPIs and service commitments
  • Provide financial transparency that builds trust with both internal teams and clients
  • Anticipate operational and client needs and proactively adjust financial approach

Financial Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Support month-end close activities and financial reporting requirements
  • Maintain and strengthen ICOFR (Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting) processes
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors and oversee implementation of audit recommendations

Process Improvement & Transformation

  • Improve account-level financial processes (billing accuracy, cost tracking, forecasting)
  • Identify operational inefficiencies impacting account profitability
  • Implement tools and reporting tailored to account leadership needs

Cash & Risk Management

  • Ensure accurate billing, cost control, and margin realization at the account level
  • Monitor contract financial risk (scope creep, under-recovery, cost overruns)
  • Support resolution of financial discrepancies impacting the client relationship

What Makes You Successful

You are a strategic thinker who combines financial discipline with a strong understanding of operational realities. You operate with a client-first mindset and act as a true partner to account and operations teams, delivering clear, actionable financial insight.

Success in this role means consistently meeting financial targets, maintaining billing accuracy and transparency, proactively addressing risks, and identifying opportunities for account growth. You build trusted partnerships across finance, operations, and client stakeholders, driving sustainable performance and long-term success.
