range for this position is $28.67 per hour - $28.67 per hour.


Key Purpose

The GMP Lead Cleaning Technician oversees the daily cleaning tasks of the GMP team while

performing routine cleaning processes in production. You will solve minor GMP cleaning problems

and strictly adhere to GMP regulations, environmental health and safety guidelines, and any other

related restrictions that may apply. Under the overall direction of the supervisor/manager, this

position shall be responsible for the hands-on execution of all room cleaning/sanitizations in the

production area and surrounding corridors.

Ideal Candidate Experience

  • 2+ years of related GMP manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of basic chemical and biological safety procedures
  • Ability to read, write, speak English, and communicate effectively
  • Should possess basic math skills
  • Understand that safety is a top priority and comply with all safety rules, policies, and
  • procedures
  • Must be a team player and committed to working in a quality environment
  • Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills


Key Accountabilities

  • Lead special GMP cleaning projects
  • Support and train new GMP Cleaners
  • Perform sanitizations per GMP regulations in production areas (Mop and/ or wipe floors,
  • wall ceilings, curtains, etc.)
  • Strictly adhere to Safety and GMP SOPs and perform related documentation clearly and
  • legibly
  • Receive garment and uniform inventory and stock supply rooms in production areas
  • Empty trash containers and maintain an adequate amount of cleaning supplies
  • Supports all local manufacturing operations
  • Supply components, small parts, tubing, etc.
  • Complete relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines
  • Manually clean portable equipment and small parts
  • Receive and distribute supplies into the production area as necessary
  • Train other technicians if applicable
  • Assist supervisor/manager with day-to-day operations
  • May perform other duties as assigned

  • Must be able to push and pull up to 100 pounds (with assistance of material handling
  • equipment)
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 to 50 pounds
  • Frequently lift 0-10 pounds
  • Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
