Job Description

Key Purpose


The FDD Manager will setup, monitor, and train employees on Clockworks FDD system. The FDD Manager interfaces with local FM, Engineering Staff, and JFKIAT to oversee Clockworks FDD system.

Ideal Candidate Experience


  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Energy Conservation,
  • Energy Management, Performance Contracting, or Energy Engineering.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, building automation and control systems.
  • Ability to perform energy analysis.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with ability to interface seamlessly with all levels of management. Comfortable working in virtual environments with remote teams.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, online software platforms, with the ability to use spreadsheets and data analysis applications.
  • Experience in CMMS software systems
  • Self-starter, team player, with ability to bring alternate points of view to the discussion and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively organize responsibilities. Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Must have knowledge of basic mathematical concepts in order to calculate ROI’s, create proposals, create cost savings programs, fundamentals of electricity in order to calculate electricity savings, and create water savings data
  • Must possess valid state driver’s license
  • Preferred: LEED AP
  • Preferred: Well AP
  • Preferred: Certified Energy Manager (CEM)

Key Accountabilities


  • Data & Reporting
  • Complete Monthly Data reports into the energy and sustainability platform; ensure accuracy, check variances, check reports.
  • Track consumption and waste creation and compare to stated goals. 


Strategy and Implementation


  • Strategy and implementation of energy and sustainability scope across the client’s portfolio.
  • Maintain records of energy consumption and waste diversion by partnering with vendors and account teams, overseeing data entry and performing data entry when required into the energy and sustainability management platform. 

 

Financial Management


  • Support account finance teams for forecasting energy costs.
  • Review invoice charges and cost structures for utilities and waste services.
  • Partner with procurement and the account team for energy procurement and waste services tendering processes.


Initiatives


  • Find and develop a pipeline of energy and sustainability initiatives, including capital projects, with appropriate calculations for ROI. 
  • Lead initiative execution where applicable, and partner with project management and site team to ensure effective project delivery and handoff to site operations teams. 


     

Other


  • Create year over year strategic program roadmaps
  • Knowledge about sustainable development goals and applying them to improve the sustainability of the client’s facilities.
  • Continually monitor industry trends, evaluate new products and services for potential, and participate in industry working groups. Oversee pilot tests of cutting-edge energy and sustainability solutions.
  • Establish a positive rapport with both ISS and client staff and management to ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Implement energy and sustainability data management platforms for reporting
  • Collaborate with site engineering teams to ensure all energy initiatives meet customer standards and comply with all country, state, local laws.
  • Develop renewable energy plans and projects as client requests.

  • The successful individual will be required to execute goals and projects in partnership with team members.


Physical Demands & Work Environment


  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to bend, sit, kneel, squat reach, and stand as required to access equipment components.
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments exposed to heat, sunlight, rain and cold.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time

The annual salary range for this position is $88000 per year - $106000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills,and may vary from the range listed above.
