Key Purpose

 The IT Financial Analyst will oversee the IT pricing strategy and ensure accuracy in customer billing related to IT services. This role will create purchase orders, track and manage IT fee collection and implement monthly accruals for accurate a timely reporting and forecasting.

Ideal Candidate Experience

  •  Three to five (3-5) years of billing, IT fee pricing and collection, accounting or finance work or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of computerized financial applications
  • Considerable knowledge of pricing and billing strategy, preferably in IT
  • Ability to maintain efficient financial systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of payroll and accounts payable functions
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, Word, and Excel
  • Must be a team player and committed to working in a quality environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills required
  • Have experience with SharePoint, Excel, Word and Power-Point; Demonstrate strong attention to detail; Work as a team player and can work independently; and/or demonstrate the initiative to seek solutions, resolve issues and have a hunger to grow and develop in this role
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Share-Point; Detailed oriented, flexible, and have ability to manage multiple priorities; and/or Have excellent organization, communication and project management skills
  • Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED, college degree preferred.

 

Key Accountabilities

  •  Manage IT Pricing Strategy: Oversee the execution and monitoring of the IT pricing strategy.
  • Manage invoice generation: Ensure accuracy in customer billing related to IT services.
  • Monitoring & Controlling: Track and manage IT fee collections to ensure financial alignment.
  • Manage procurement processes: Strategically create purchase orders for departmental needs, including startups, inventory, and miscellaneous items, ensuring timely fulfillment and cost-effectiveness.
  • Direct financial planning: Develop and implement monthly accruals to accurately reflect departmental expenses, supporting financial transparency and forecasting.
  • Oversee invoice processing: Streamline the processing of invoices for prompt payments, verifying accuracy and adherence to contractual terms to maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • Ensure fiscal compliance: Enforce rigorous coding standards for all IT-related invoices, meticulously auditing for discrepancies, duplicate charges, and changes in vendor contracts.
  • Monitor financial integrity: Conduct thorough research to identify anomalies within budgets, ensuring financial discrepancies are promptly addressed and rectified.
  • Facilitate budget alignment: Collaborate closely with finance team to align IT expenditures with budgetary targets, fostering proactive financial management and accountability.
  • Enhance vendor relationships: Negotiate invoicing terms and procedures with vendors, documenting agreements to streamline payment processes and ensure contractual compliance.
  • Monitor and report on internal capitalization: Track and provide regular updates on internal capitalization activities, ensuring transparency and accuracy in financial reporting.

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  •  Standard working hours 8am - 5pm
  • Sitting at a computer for 90% of the time

Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the above range.
