Hourly Wage

Work Hours 

The work hours for this position are Mon-Fri , 8:00 am-5:00 pm.


The Maintenance Supervisor is to work with Account Leadership to oversee and perform the day-to-day Operation, Replacement, Repair and Maintenance execution of the applicable Maintenance Services for the assigned site. Maintenance Supervisor will directly supervise a team(s) to include technicians, handyman etc..

Experience 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • 5+ years in Facility Maintenance or related field with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Any trade certificate (desired)
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Ability to calculate figures and amount


Key Accountabilities

Work involves the lifting of heavy materials and apparatus, and may be performed in areas of extreme heat, cold, and/or noise. Receives and responds to service calls, takes immediate action to resolve emergency situations or system breakdowns. Ensure preventive maintenance inspections are completed and necessary repair are always made. Ensures that work area/plant is always clean, safe, and that managed/generated utilities meet delivery specifications. Oversees contractors, routine and preventive maintenance work to ensure work is performed appropriately and in a safe manner. Communicates with ISS and Customer operations management teams, tenants/utility system end users, and Business Unit Stakeholders.

  • Directly supervise Facility Technicians and/or Handymen and conduct all supervisor related responsibilities to include recruiting, selection, hiring, onboarding, training, managing performance, discipline, termination of employment, etc..
  • Performs maintenance operation, installation, replacement, repair of related mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and life safety systems as applicable to the assigned location
  • Perform/Direct maintenance Preventive Maintenance Work orders from PM Calendar
  • Works closely with Account Leadership to optimize the Preventative Maintenance Program
  • Responds to trouble calls; works closely with Operations to ensure efficient operations; maintaining records, logs and files as required
  • Ensures services/maintenance is executed according to established standards
  • Identify deficiencies through regular and thorough inspection of facility infrastructure
  • Assists other Mechanics, Electricians, and Operators with major repairs and maintenance of facility equipment
  • Ensures regulatory compliance associated with in scope maintenance services
  • Operates support equipment including forklift, cranes, pay loaders, and moving vehicles
  • Maintains tools and orders supplies as required for installation and repairs
  • Follow with departmental policy for safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials
  • Follows all safety practices including storage, usage, and disposal. Follows and enforces all personal protective equipment as required regulatory agencies, client, and employer.
  • Ensures safe handling practices for self and team of hand tools, power tools, test instruments, etc.
  • Supports customer satisfaction processes by ensuring customers are informed about the status of their request in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensures accurate and timely documentation
  • Allocate workload, prioritize maintenance repairs, supervise staff, and coordinate work for outside vendors
  • Ensure compliance with all health/safety polices, training requirements, and ensure on-time completion
  • Perform any additional duties on an as “required” basis where such duties are within the scope of contractual obligations

  • While performing the duties of this job, the Maintenance Supervisor is regularly required to stand and walk at eight-hour intervals with occasional scheduled breaks
  • Frequent use arms, hands, and fingers to handle, touch, feel, and reach
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk, and hear.
  • The individual is frequently required to climb stairs and ladders
  • The individual must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, at higher than chest level
  • Must be able to tolerate adverse working conditions due to climate and tolerate extreme temperature changes
