Multi-Site Facility Manager
ISS Facility Services – People Make Places
Lead Operations. Drive Excellence. Create Exceptional Workplace Experiences.
At ISS, our people make places. We are looking for a hands-on, customer-focused Multi-Site Facility Manager who is energized by day-to-day operations, team leadership, and consistent service delivery across multiple local client sites.
Reporting directly to the Senior Facility Manager, this role translates account strategy and client expectations into reliable daily execution. The Multi-Site Facility Manager coordinates facility services across an assigned local portfolio, leads self-performance teams, manages third-party contractors, monitors service quality and costs, and resolves operational issues before they disrupt the workplace experience. This position serves as the primary day-to-day operational contact for assigned sites and escalates material risks, financial concerns, and strategic decisions to the Senior Facility Manager.
If you are a visible, service-minded leader who enjoys working across multiple locations and helping teams deliver their best work, we invite you to join us.
What You'll Do
As the Multi-Site Facility Manager, you will oversee the daily delivery of integrated facility services across multiple local sites. You will balance in-person site presence with remote coordination, maintain consistent standards, and adapt execution to each location’s operating needs. Working within the direction, budget parameters, and service strategy established by the Senior Facility Manager, you will lead frontline teams and service partners with a safety-first, hospitality-driven mindset.
Day-to-Day Multi-Site Operations
- Coordinate daily facility operations across an assigned portfolio of multiple local sites, ensuring services align with contract requirements, client expectations, and ISS standards.
- Maintain a regular site presence and use operating knowledge of each location to address issues quickly, minimize disruption, and support employees and guests.
- Implement standard operating procedures, work schedules, service routines, and site-specific requirements established for the account.
- Monitor work orders, inspections, service requests, recurring tasks, equipment needs, and open operational issues through completion.
- Support local projects, moves, events, and service changes as assigned by the Senior Facility Manager.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, logs, and operational correspondence.
Team & Contractor Leadership
- Provide direct day-to-day leadership to self-performance teams across assigned sites, including work allocation, scheduling, coaching, training, and performance follow-up.
- Coordinate and oversee third-party contractors and service providers, confirming scope completion, service quality, safety compliance, documentation, and timely issue resolution.
- Build one integrated service culture across ISS employees and contractor partners, with clear expectations for accountability, hospitality, responsiveness, and collaboration.
- Identify staffing, capability, and training needs; partner with the Senior Facility Manager and People & Culture on workforce actions and employee relations matters.
- Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and development of site-based team members as needed.
- Ensure teams and contractors follow client rules, ISS policies, site procedures, and applicable labor requirements.
Client & Stakeholder Support
- Serve as the primary day-to-day operational contact for assigned sites and build productive relationships with local client stakeholders.
- Provide timely updates on service performance, open issues, planned work, and operational risks.
- Respond to concerns with urgency and professionalism, coordinating corrective actions and escalating significant or recurring issues to the Senior Facility Manager.
- Gather site feedback and operational insights to support account reviews, service improvements, and decision-making.
- Deliver a consistent, high-touch workplace experience for employees, guests, and client teams.
Financial & Service Performance
- Manage assigned site cost centers and operate within approved budgets, purchasing controls, and delegated authority.
- Review labor usage, contractor performance, invoices, supplies, and operating expenses; identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the Senior Facility Manager with forecasting inputs, budget planning, performance reporting, and validation of services received.
- Monitor service-level commitments, key performance indicators, quality inspections, and customer feedback; implement practical improvements to strengthen outcomes.
- Identify day-to-day efficiencies and value opportunities without compromising safety, compliance, or service quality.
Compliance, Safety & Risk
- Promote a safety-first culture and ensure assigned sites follow Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.
- Conduct or coordinate inspections, toolbox talks, required training, incident follow-up, and corrective actions within assigned responsibility.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and adherence to contractual, regulatory, client, and company requirements.
- Identify operational, people, vendor, and facility risks; take immediate action within authority and escalate material concerns promptly.
- Support emergency response, business continuity, and site readiness activities for the assigned local portfolio.
