Hourly Wage

The hourly pay range for this position is $27.10  - $27.10 . Benefits are provided in accordance with the location’s Collective Bargaining Agreement.


Work Hours 

The work hours for this position are Mon-Fri, 5:30 am - 2:00 pm.


Key Purpose

The Day Porter must have a keen eye, be organized, and able to follow a routine that provides regular inspection and cleaning of assigned areas. The Day Porter is friendly and accommodating and ensure the workplace is maintained for the client and visitors. She/He/They must be skilled in operating hand and electrical cleaning tools like dusters, brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners are required .To drive a delivery vehicle for the purpose of delivering prepared foods from production kitchen to various sites following a predetermined schedule Load and unload containers, hot carts and utensils and make proper distribution Maintains product rotation, product labeling and cleanliness of walk-ins and food storages

  • Work with pantry supervisors on remote pantry product deliveries

  • Day to day support of kitchen, front of the house, and pantry deliveries
  • Perform daily, on-time deliveries 
  • Clean and maintain delivery trucks (interior and exterior) daily
  • Maintain maintenance records and delivery log documentation
  • Perform pickup and drop-off of product inventory 
  • Clean and safe work area 
  • Workplace Safety guidelines, policies, and SOPs are followed daily  
  • Food Safety guidelines, policies, and SOPs are followed daily
  • HACCP guidelines, policies, and SOPs are followed daily
  • All internal audit guidelines, policies, and SOPs are followed daily 


Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
  • Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code
  • Employee must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
  • Requires the ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
  • Requires the ability to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials
  • Requires the ability to stoop, kneel, bend and reach
  • Ability to push and pull a minimum of 30 pounds
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 to 50 pounds
  • Ability to frequently lift 0-10 pounds
  • Tasks performed are repetitive in nature
  • Must be able to understand one’s physical limitations to the extent necessary to perform
  • the necessary functions and tasks of the job. Stand 33%, Walk >66%, Sit <10%. Use of
