Hourly Wage

Benefits are provided in accordance with the location’s Collective Bargaining Agreement. The hourly pay range for this position is $32.25  - $32.25 .


Work Hours

The work hours for this position are approximately 6:00 am - 3:30 pm, Mon-Fri.


Key Purpose

Receiving products and inspecting foods to ensure safe temperatures and integrity of products. Keep all storage areas clean and organized and store food using safety methods. Ability to assist in café operations and set up in a timely and professional manner. Responsible for producing visually appealing and good tasting foods to Guckenheimer standards. You will help prepare, season, plate and cook soups, vegetables, desserts, or other products under the direction of the Chef as well as serving customers during meal periods.

  • Work with catering to deliver food and assist with the setup of events
  • Time demands in catering so you must work well under time restraints

  • Support the Chef and culinary team when needed
  • Support dish room operators as needed

  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Must follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents
  • Arriving on time daily
  • Proper receiving and storage of all foods, chemicals, equipment and dry goods
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for food preparation
  • Possess ServSafe certification or City/State Food Handler Card


Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs
  • Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code
  • Employees must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
