Key Purpose 


The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.  This individual will be responsible for the leadership and delivery of capital projects in North America as per the 3C’s and the Global Blueprint: Capability, Credibility, and Cost Leadership


Success Criteria  

  • Deliver projects across the portfolio
  • Developing the pipeline of works to achieve the required targets
  • Project implementation, delivery, documentation, supply chain, handover and warranty management
  • Responsibility for health and safety on relevant projects
  • Implementation and compliance with all statutory and ISS procedures
  • Financial management and reporting
  • Business development

 

Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence  

  • Report to the Global Operations Manager and support business optimization
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues across the company so that information is disseminated effectively and participate in project groups and meetings as required 
  • Demonstrate evidence of People Management, Commercial Awareness, Resource Management, Customer Orientation, Work Standards, Resilience, and Decision Making

 

Ideal Candidate Experience  

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/ BS) in technical, mechanical, electrical engineering, or construction management preferred- Equivalent experience may be substituted for education
  • Project Manager certification preferred
  • Expertise in a construction, engineering, or built environment discipline would be a pre-requisite of the role
  • Preferably a minimum of 10 years’ experience operating at a Senior Manager Level within the building project and FM industry, preferably in the banking sector / corporate environments / commercial offices
  • Demonstrate experience in managing projects up to a value of $55m
  • Demonstrate experience of managing Health & Safety compliance
  • Demonstrate experience of estimating project costs, and presenting high quality tender documents to customers
  • Demonstrate experience of leading, managing, supporting, and coaching a team of project managers to deliver quality projects to stakeholders
  • Target orientated focus on quality and delivery to high standards and prepared to develop self and others under their control
  • Demonstrate IT literacy capability with Microsoft Office suite including MS Project
  • Demonstrate experience and competency with PDA and mobile telephone software and applications
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills


Key Accountabilities  

  • Responsible for the tactical development and delivery of Capital Projects 
  • Responsibility to organically grow projects within North America
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the ISS Country Team, Key Accounts, Global Operations, and external customers
  • P&L accountability aligned to country
  • Developing the delivery model and managing resource across projects
  • Commercial governance and practices
  • Compliance and risk
  • Developing the supply chain strategy including S/C management
  • Support the Capital Projects Global Operations Team in the development and implementation of best practices, processes, and procedures to ensure high standard of service

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment  

  • Sitting at a computer for extended periods of time  
  • Travel within the US may be required – Min of 10%
  • Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods

The annual salary range for this position is $140000.00  - $160000.00 . Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
