Solutions Director – Drive Growth in Facilities Management

Key Purpose:

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Solutions Director to lead our business development efforts in the Facilities Management (FM) sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in sales leadership, client relationship management, and strategic growth within the FM industry. This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive revenue, develop key partnerships, and expand market share while ensuring exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth across hard and soft facilities management services.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities across diverse sectors including corporate, healthcare, retail, education, and government.
  • Conduct market research to analyze trends, competition, and client needs.
  • Lead bid and tender processes, ensuring proposals are competitive, compliant, and aligned with client objectives.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and industry partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop customized solutions to address client facility management challenges and business goals.

Sales Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve performance targets and KPIs.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with operations, marketing, and finance to align client acquisition and service delivery strategies.

Financial & Performance Management

  • Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline reporting to ensure strategic alignment with company objectives.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to ensure profitability and compliance.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in sales leadership within the Facilities Management or related industries.
  • Strong network and established relationships within FM, real estate, and corporate sectors.
  • Proven expertise in B2B sales, contract negotiation, and key account management.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles, bids, and tenders for large-scale contracts.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with strong financial acumen and analytical ability.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven sales techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in outsourced facilities services including hard FM (maintenance, engineering) and soft FM (cleaning, security, catering, landscaping).
  • Understanding of contract management and compliance frameworks in the FM industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Facilities Management (MBA preferred).
  • Affiliations with IFMA and BOMA

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
  • Must be able to travel

The annual salary range for this position is $160000.00 - $200000.00  + lucrative incentive-based commission package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
