Position Overview

The Transition Coordinator is responsible for executing transition project plans and supporting the successful mobilization of new client contracts across facility services and food service operations in the fast-paced, high-demand environment within the film, production, and broadcast studio industry. Working closely with Transition Managers, operational leaders, subject matter experts, and project teams, this role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless account transitions that align with ISS operational standards and transformation goals.

As part of the ISS Transition Team, you will support the delivery of our Transition Process Model (TPM), helping operationalize contracts, implement transformation initiatives, and drive continuous improvement through standardized best practices, governance, and project execution.

What Success Looks Like

As a successful Transition Coordinator, you will:

  • Create strong alignment between the ISS vision, transformation initiatives, and operational excellence
  • Deliver clear, solution-oriented project communications
  • Champion process improvements and best practices
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and streamline recurring processes
  • Drive successful project execution while maintaining quality, compliance, and budget expectations
  • Support continuous improvement in transition methodology, messaging, and execution


Key Responsibilities

Project & Transition Management

  • Partner with Transition Managers and/or lead transition activities for new facility services and food service contracts
  • Coordinate project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and stakeholder communication
  • Develop and maintain transition plans, schedules, and status reports
  • Monitor project scope, budget, and timelines to ensure successful delivery
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and track project progress

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as the coordinator for Transition Managers and partner and/or lead transition-related activities
  • Partner with operational leaders, account teams, subject matter experts, and clients
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendor site visits
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across multiple workstreams

Operational Excellence

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with the PMO
  • Leverage governance models, shared resources, and standardized processes
  • Ensure transition quality, compliance, and service delivery standards are met
  • Identify and implement operational improvements and cost-saving opportunities

Employee & Client Experience

  • Support onboarding and transition activities for newly hired employees
  • Help develop strategies that improve employee engagement and survey outcomes
  • Ensure a positive experience for both clients and employees during transitions
  • Promote the ISS Integrated Facility Services (IFS) model and best practices


What You Bring

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • 3+ years of facilities management experience
  • Experience managing operational projects within facility services or related industries
  • Strong understanding of operational planning, execution, and effectiveness
  • Previous P&L operational experience within the facilities industry preferred

  • Exceptional organizational and project coordination skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • High attention to detail while maintaining a strategic perspective

Travel Requirements

✈️ Approximately 25% travel


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer
  • Ability to stand and present during meetings, site visits, and travel
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet critical deadlines

The annual salary range for this position is $63000.00  - $96000.00 . Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the above range.
