Vice President of Operations, F&B - East & Central Region

Key Purpose

The Vice President of Operations, F&B - East & Central Region will craft and oversee programming for the ISS Guckenheimer regional portfolio of clients comprised of a combined $200M volume of business. Programming and oversight is included but not limited to, best in class food programs, financial accuracy and accountability, procurement initiatives, customer engagement and enablement, people and culture practices associated with a client portfolio across 100 sites. The position will oversee critical functions of the above programs. This position will be strategic and often tactical in oversight of projects from inception to completion.


The Vice President of Operations, East & Central Region will also be an inspiring and motivating leader capable of leading teams across multiple disciplines. An entrepreneurial mind is key in bringing all the disciplines to new heights.


Success Criteria

  • Serve as a key member of the ISS Guckenheimer Senior Leadership team
  • Delivery on contract promises, increased effectiveness and/or efficiency of delivered services through deployment of ISS Guckenheimer standards and concepts leveraging innovation and best practice opportunities’
  • Successful delivery of prioritized projects and programs
  • In partnership with internal and external stakeholders understand upcoming priorities and linking project delivery to the needs of the business
  • Deployment of relevant projects following the global/local standards while having complete ownership of project roll out and completion
  • Development of self and team in line with agreed appraisal, taking responsibility for increased performance, and ensuring continued self-improvement
  • Participate and embrace the development opportunities

Ideal Candidate Experience

  • 15+ years of multi-unit management experience in a food service / hospitality / retail environment; Foodservice/ Corporate Dining Operations Management ideal
  • Managed business volumes of $200M or more
  • Experience managing complex operations with direct P&L and growth accountability
  • Hospitality Management and or Culinary degree preferred
  • Experience with financial forecasting and implementation of financial strategies
  • Must be able to communicate with others to convey information effectively
  • Ability to use Microsoft suite programs for inputting and organizing data, ordering, and communication regarding feedback
  • Senior Executive level background in multi-unit operations in hotels, restaurants, or other applicable food service

Physical Demands & Work Environment 

  • Sitting at a computer for 50% of the time
  • Walking/Inspecting the site 50% of the time
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds
  • Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods

ISS offers full-time employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The annual salary range for this position is $246000.00  - $300000.00 . Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the above range.
